A promotional series for the Iguazú National Park featuring the waterfalls at dusk and an onlooking cougar designed on a poster, sticker, and postcard for visual flexibility. After researching the national park, I wanted to capture the essence of the park you will find yourself in by emphasizing the glowing waterfalls and the cougar suggesting wildlife.
A magazine layout proposal for the existing magazine series by AIGA: Eye On Design covering the topic of biophilic design. Contents within the magazine contain featured artworks from illustrators and designers that shine on the benefits of biophilia, and how graphic design can use biophilic elements in both the digital and physical world for the better. Cover illustration is my own.
An extensive project of redesigning the 626 Night Market website and proposed visual themes to promote the event across other mediums. 626 Night Market is a popular Asian night market that includes music, performances, and especially food. I designed a ‘Year of the Dragon’ theme to appeal to the Asian population in Arcadia, Orange County, and Los Angeles.
The following images are as listed:
Branding elements, full layout of landing page and ‘Tickets’ page, mockups for website and email marketing campaign, and two separate promotional posters.
An abstract take based on Disney’s version of Alice In Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll, for a book cover redesign assignment. Throughout the process, I had a spontaneous idea of flipping a teacup upside down and turning that into her dress, accompanied by simplistic shapes that makes the character recognizable.
A redesign for a local Redlands, California restaurant called Martha Green’s: The Eating Room. I led a class group of designers to develop a new brand identity and develop ways to better promote the business. I took on the task of redesigning the website - the first attempt at web design. My group mates designed a new ‘Martha’s’ logo, restaurant menu, and social media.
The following elements are:
Full layout of the landing page, press page to document their history and contributions to the community, and a special events page to show what they offer beyond the restaurant.
